Lisa Hough's unwavering dedication to Bitcoin and the energy sector drives her work, recognizing their critical importance to national security. Forbes recently hailed her as one of the most notable female voices in the Bitcoin community.

Lisa built most of her energy career in Houston, gaining expertise in commodity trading and risk management at Vastar Resources, Phibro Energy, and Enron Capital and Trade. At PG&E Energy Trading, she led the East Coast Natural Gas trading desk and was an executive member of the power generation hedge team. She focused on resilient commercial strategies through cross-market dynamics and asset optimization.

Her extensive network includes positions on the Board of Directors of the Bitcoin Today Coalition and the Supervisory Board at Melanion Digital, supporting its mission as Europe's leader in compliant Bitcoin equity ETFs. Lisa is also a Founding Board Member of Proof of Workforce, providing Bitcoin education for workers, unions, and pension funds. Proof of Workforce spearheaded the initiative that enabled the Santa Monica Firefighter Union to establish secure Bitcoin holdings and the City of Santa Monica to create the first Bitcoin office in the US. Previously, Lisa was Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Custodia Bank, collaborating with public companies and university foundations holding significant Bitcoin.
